As one of the top scuba dive centers in Aqaba, Arab Divers has been offering scuba diving and snorkel equipment rental and diving courses since 1998.

Led by a team of award-winning diving professionals, Arab Divers makes it its mission to offer you the best experience.

Aqaba on the red sea is a divers delight. Its clear, warm tropical waters allow the sun to penetrate the sea to the depth of 150 meters, illuminating a paradise of hundreds of coral, fish mollusc, and crustaceans surrounding the diver in the dazzling colours of life. a variety of habitats and aqaba diving sites ranging from easy shore diving to intriguing wreck and boat dives make Aqaba scuba diving experience complete One of the best things about being certified is that it allows you to travel and explore parts of the world that many others will never see. At Arab Divers in Aqaba-Jordan, we aim to run numerous local aqaba dive sites. Marina Life The coral reef , both hard and soft, is very healthy and impressive. In general, marina life is abundant but not of the impressively-sized verity. Sharks saw, but napoleon fish, groupers and turtles are not uncommon. Smaller fish such as butterflyfish, angelfish, damselfish, anthias, dotty backs, and anemonefish predominate, and divers can expect to see these fish at most sites. Octopi, cuttlefish, squids, shrimps, crabs and various echinoderms also are plentiful.

 

1998 Abdel Wahab Alma’aitah founded one of the first Dive Companies for Commercial Diving in Aqaba, Jordan.

2000 International tourists discover the Red Sea and the reefs of Aqaba under the safe guidance from Arab Divers and PADI IDC Staff Instructor Abdel.

2013 The original 8 rooms are not enough, and another 12 rooms are available for the growing Arab Divers Family.                                                                                                                                                                                       

2015 The second generation of Arab Divers is ready to revive Recreational, TEC and Commercial Diving within a traditional Jordanian family business.                                                                                                               

2016 Technical diving is added to the diving services, and Arab Divers becomes a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Dive Resort and an authorized PADI Tec Rec Center.

1990 Interpreter for the Juniors Rates’ Seamanship and Boatworks Course in H.M.S. Raleigh, Royal Navy UK.

1992 Ascertainment as Captain from Bundesgrenzschutz in Germany.

1996 UN Military Observer in Croatia Retirement as Lieutenant Commander.

1998 Founder of Arab Divers Commercial Diving.

2000 CMAS 3 *** Diver.

2000 Arab Divers PADI Dive Centre in Aqaba.

2001 PADI open water instructor Certification.

 2004 PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer.

2009 Owner and General Manager of Arab Divers Dive Centre and Bed & Breakfast Aqaba South Beach.

2012 Conference at Divers Institute of Technology in Seattle, USA.

Maintenance and Repair Technician Course for Kirby Morgan Dive Systems.

2013 Development and expansion from Arab Divers Bed & Breakfast and installing a new Dive Shop in

Aqaba.
